From GED to Beyond – A Pathway for Adult Spanish Speaking Learners

One of the things that makes St. Augustine different is that you don’t have to start over each time you want to take the next step. We’ve built a connected pathway that moves with you.

Many students begin with our free GED program. From there, GED graduates have access to a free college class at St. Augustine, a low-stakes way to see what St. Augustine’s unique ESL college courses feel like before committing. Students who continue can earn an associate’s degree, which carries real value on its own and serves as a strong foundation for a bachelor’s degree through Lewis University.

If you are looking for a better job, better pay, and a better life, you don’t have to have it all figured out on day one. Each step is designed to lead naturally to the next.

Built for Chicago’s Adult Learners

St. Augustine College has spent decades serving adults across Chicago, people working full-time, raising kids, navigating the English language for the first time, and building something better for themselves and their families. Our students come from Humboldt Park, Little Village, the South Side, and everywhere in between.

Small classes, bilingual instruction, real advising, and a college community that knows who you are. That’s what we mean when we say we’re built for adult learners.
