The program is designed to be completed in 44 weeks — just under a year. That includes a 160-hour externship in a real healthcare facility, where students gain supervised clinical experience before entering the workforce. For anyone looking to launch a healthcare career quickly and affordably, this is one of the fastest pathways available in Chicago.

Does the Medical Assistant program include real clinical experience?

Yes. Every student completes a 160-hour externship in a professional healthcare facility.
