There was a great deal of fun events at SAC all summer long! Our new dynamic team at the Student Success Center presents photos and highlights: 

Lincoln Dogs Lunch

Son of our IT Director, Josh, has raised funds to support Lurie Children’s Hospital as the owner of his own business, Lincoln Hot Dogs. Well done, Lincoln! 

President Meets Student Council

The Student Council met with Dr. Gonzalez over brunch to learn more about the merger with Lewis University, discussing their future plans and goals in building the community, creating a successful integration with Lewis University, and raising awareness for the Student Success Center. 

Lewis Leaders Visit SAC

Lewis leaders visited Saint Augustine’s main campus with plans to share our combined vision. 

Faculty Institute Day 

A day dedicated to our wonderful faculty who have helped make sure our students get the best possible academic experience. 

Lewis Day Trip 

In preparation for the merger between Lewis U and SAC, the SAC staff spent a day at Lewis. We enjoyed a tour of their 410-acre campus, along with their aviation program featuring retired American Airlines planes.

Adult ED Graduation Dinner 

We celebrated the graduation of 300 students this past year from the Adult Education program alone. Speeches were presented by 14th Ward Alderperson Jeylu Gutierrez, President Gonzales of SAC, and Adult Education Director Elvina Hargrave. Congratulations to all! 

St. Augustine Day 

As the summer came to a close, we spent time together enjoying the summer breeze with a picnic featuring Latino music and games. 

We are excited about what this school year will bring, and we look forward to seeing you on the Saint Augustine and Lewis University campuses for Fall 2023.
