St. Augustine College has signed and returned the U.S. Department of Education Recipient’s Funding Certification and Agreement. St. Augustine College will distribute no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as Emergency Financial Aid Grants directly to students.
St. Augustine College will receive a total of $1,496,982 under Section 18004(a)(1) of the HEERF, of which at least $748,491 will be provided directly to students impacted by campus disruptions due to COVID-19.
Funds Distributed to Date
As of the close of business on February 1, 2021 Augustine College has awarded $300,500 in direct grants to students.
The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 768.
The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 290.

St. Augustine College will award a standard relief grant of $1,000 per eligible student.
Instructions or Directions Given to the Students
Grants are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis to eligible students beginning with the Spring 2020 semester—and then in each semester thereafter—until the funds are exhausted. Only one grant is available per student.
