St. Augustine College Welcomes New Dean: Dr. Angela Vidal-Rodriguez

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Angela Vidal-Rodriguez has been appointed as the new Dean of St. Augustine College at Lewis University, effective July 28th, 2025. 

With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Vidal-Rodriguez most recently served as the Director of the McNair Scholars Program at Northeastern. Her work consistently emphasized the creation of inclusive and supportive environments, as well as expanding opportunities for traditionally underrepresented students. At Valparaiso University, she continued this mission as the Assistant Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, where she helped drive campus-wide initiatives and integrated strategic planning efforts. 

Dr. Vidal-Rodriguez brings a wealth of leadership and proven advocacy in equity-focused programming to her new role. We look forward to her guiding the college into an era of innovation, inclusion, and academic excellence.
