careerservices CTC services are offered to all students and alumni of St. Augustine College at absolutely no cost. Services are typically provided individually either by appointment and/or walk-in at our office at the Main Campus or during our CTC Service Days at all other campuses. Assistance is provided to all students in the following areas: Career Counseling services include:

  • Providing students with necessary resources to research and obtain occupational, educational and employment information
  • Assistance with establishing short and long-term career goals
  • Tools for the exploration of a full range of career and work possibilities
  • Guidance to make informed career decisions based on accurate information about the work

Career Exploration services include:

  • Access to career assessments and inventories to better define goals
  • Identifying employers that provide career development and potential employment
  • Assistance in developing key job search skills utilizing multiple search sites and professional networking sites
  • Access to computers for students working on career development

Work Readiness services include:

  • Assistance in the creation, revising and editing of a professional resume and/or cover letter
  • Guidance in the job application process
  • Mock interviews and overall interview preparation
  • Identifying next steps and follow up upon completing job interviews

Job Search services include:

  • Assistance with the development of key job searching skills
  • Providing students with resources to obtain information on employment trends and statistics
  • Access to current Job and internships listings, including positions available directly for SAC students via the St. Augustine College Career and Transfer Center Online Job Board

All Student Services can be provided on a walk-in basis, however, appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure that the necessary time is provided for the best possible service.
