St. Augustine College reminds new students that the New Student Orientation meeting will be held in English and Spanish on Saturday, August 26 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at the college’s Main Campus (1345 W. Argyle St. – Chicago) and at the Aurora campus (841 N. Lake St. – Aurora).
Attendance to this event, which will include lunch and free child care, is mandatory for new students in order to obtain essential information that will be key to their development as St. Augustine College, such as the kind of administrative and academic services available, strategies for better study habits, tips to make the most of their teacher’s instruction, and the chance to meet academic and recruitment counselors and new classmates.
Also important dates of SAC’s academic calendar year will be announced such as enrollment periods, deadlines for applying for financial aid, holidays, vacations, the deadline for changing courses, deadlines for cancellation of tuition, exam dates, among others.
St. Augustine College is a member of the Colleges and Universities of Anglican Communion (CUAC); Council for Accreditation of Higher Education (CHEA); The Federation of Independent Colleges and Universities of Illinois (FIICU); Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU); And the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU).
SAC is accredited by the Council of Education in Social Work, CSWE (Social Work Program), and by the Accreditation Commission for Respiratory Care, CoARC (Respiratory Therapy Program). SAC is an institution with three Bachelor’s programs: Social Work, Psychology, and Hospitality and Restaurant Management.
