St. Augustine's Institute for Workforce Education aims to consolidate and considerably expand its workforce development and
business services. Our vision is to be the largest provider of workforce
development services in the State of Illinois by 2012. The Institute for Workforce Education offers workforce
training to employers in all major sectors of the Chicagoland area economy.

Comprehensive Service Approach
From our custom needs assessment to curriculum and
instructional design, training, evaluation, and reporting, the IWE's training
approach is both cohesive and comprehensive.
Access to Training Grants
Through its partnerships with the U.S. Department of Labor,
the City of Chicago, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic
Opportunity, the IWE assists employers in the qualification, identification and
management of grant funds to subsidize the cost of services.
Experienced Trainers
The IWE delivers training through highly skilled, certified
trainers with real world experience in their areas of expertise.
Proven Training Model
Our Experiential Learning Approach (ELA) is a
learner-focused system that encourages active participation through hands-on
involvement with meaningful and relevant skills practice.
Effective Training Materials
The IWE uses curricula and training materials designed with
the Experiential Learning Approach in mind. Training participants are left with
comprehensive guides to use as a reference and resource during and after
training.
Multilingual
The IWE offers all services in both English and Spanish.
Other languages are available at client's request.
On or Offsite Facilities
All services are offered onsite at your facilities. We can
also make available facilities throughout the City and the metropolitan region
for larger training sessions.
