Within the classroom, Sheila Neely-Frost continually seeks out ways to bring "real-life" into the classroom. In one of her courses, students partner with Enlace (a community development organization in Little Village) to work on social justice issues with the community. This semester students are working on immigration issues.
Sheila is currently on the board of Sarah's Circle (an agency in Uptown that serves women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness). As the development chair at Sarah's Circle, Sheila is able to use her knowledge and experience of program development, multi-disciplinary collaboration and event coordination to help support the agency's goals.
